ABOUT Hi, my name is Carlos Cardenas and I am the founder of "Dot Graphics Online". On this website you will find my personal graphic design portfolio (My design services are currently available for hire).

I am a Graphic Designer, specializing in the fields of corporate identity (logo) design, web design, print design and branding with the majority of my time spent designing and implementing marketing promotions for businesses such as logos, websites, brochures, stationary, catalogs and more.

In July 2005, After working for more than two years in different areas of design (magazines, Agencies, clothing Industry and more..), I moved from Bogota, Colombia to New York City, USA to begin a full time work at Publimax Printing Corp, a Company specialized in the creation and print of brochures, magazines, calendars, booklets, collateral material, catalogs, flyers and hang tags. I worked with them for almost 4 years as a designer and pre-press specialist so I had the opportunity to learn and master the printing process with Direct to Plate technology.
On April 2009. I moved to south Florida and I started a new full time job at Translators Inc, as a Desktop Publishing manager, currently I'm a full time Graphic Designer at CHAUVET Lighting, while also taking on my own personal freelance clients.

THE BACKGROUND
I hold a Bachelor of Graphic Design from  The Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, Colombia.  Although I am just 31 years of age, I have gained a lot of experience (more than 8 years), gaining my first freelance design job at the age of 18  since then I have never turned back…

The best part of being a Graphic designer is that at the end of a stressful and busy day at work I can sit back and honestly say that I love what I do – creating, thinking, problem solving...making the world a better looking place!.

My life is design, I love it and I surround myself in it every day.
